Location & surrounding area:

Tacoronte is located in the north of Tenerife. On the northern highway it is well connected to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, La Laguna and the north airport, but also to the region around Puerto de la Cruz. The place is traditionally known for its fine wines, which grow well on the hills of the sunny village. Every Saturday and Sunday farmers' market takes place and shows the wide selection of fruits, vegetables and other products of this still predominantly agricultural community, whose vibrant city is arranged around a beautiful center at Plaza del Cristo.
